A how-to guide on performing a lumbar ESP block for analgesia in the territory of the lumbar plexus, i.e. anterior hip and proximal lower limb. This is essentially a “lumbar plexus block-by-proxy”. The aim is to produce similar benefits with less risk and complexity.
