"The Guardian Pt. 1" by Zeyta | Re:Darkboy Original Soundtrack

I had the great pleasure of scoring for Darkboy's 6th episode of his series titled "The Guardian". I spent 6 hours straight through the night working on the music alone, so you can bet I am not feeling good right about now. However, let me break it down a little for you! The scene starts off calm but serious, as SMX and Mei try to talk, but the death of Kaido by Rito's hands plagued them both in their minds. SMX finally musters up the courage to apologise, but his words are cut short by the explosion of the battle between Gaby, CY and Rito. This is where the music swells up. The rest of it is just SMX vs Rito so nothing else special. If you're wondering why this music is very reminiscent of Attack On Titan Season 4, that's because the inspiration was exactly that! I had this sad hopeless vibe from the show that I wanted to use in this series, so I gunned it full force!
