Hey buddies! Today marks 81 years since The Wizard of Oz was released and my all time favorite actress, Judy Garland, shot to stardom. She went on to give some of the most beautiful performances ever captured on film (and on television in The Judy Garland Show!) A lot of movies have been made about her life and most of them focus on the difficult last chapters. While it's true that she faced many betrayals and struggles, when I think of Judy Garland, I don't think of a tragic figure. I think of her natural talent as a storyteller, her enviable comedic timing and her bold, bubbly spirit. Judy fully committed to every word she said and sang. I just love her!
