A time when the W123 series had reached full maturity, and Mercedes-Benz achieved a beautifully balanced union of durability and practicality. The 300TD T-Modell was not conceived as a mere wagon, but as a car designed to be used and lived with over the long term. Its robust diesel engine, solid body construction, and a philosophy that balances load-carrying ability with comfort continue to resonate even today. This particular car was fully restored by its owner over the course of three years. A bespoke suspension system was specially developed, allowing a rare lowered stance rarely achieved on a 300TD. With adjustable damping, it successfully balances reduced ride height with ride comfort at a high level. The braking system has been completely overhauled, including calipers, discs, and pads. It rides on custom-made 17-inch AMG design wheels, specially commissioned in Europe, with the deep rear rims giving this car its distinctive presence.
