In this episode, Chris and I venture to the Skyway State fishing pier to try our luck as some light tackle grouper fishing. The Skyway is known for big grouper and I must have hung a monster because my St. Croix Legend Xtreme imploded on a big strike that really put me in a state of shock. I have never had a fish break the legend and I have caught hundreds if not thousands of fish on the rod. Overall we caught many grouper and had a great time. The ticket was large whitebait, they did not seem to be too interested in pigfish, grunts, or blue runners on this day.
