Revised Administrative Sanction (AS) and Revised Technical Sanction (TS) are required when a project’s original scope, design, or cost changes significantly during execution. When the actual cost exceeds the original budget or the project requires major design updates, a Revised AS is sought to secure official approval for the additional funding and administrative changes. Once the new budget is cleared, a Revised TS is issued by the engineering authority to formally approve the updated technical drawings, detailed estimates, and modified Bill of Quantities. These revisions ensure that any deviations from the initial plan are legally documented and technically sound before further work or payments proceed.
