Ingredients: For Potato Filling: • Boiled potatoes – 4 to 5 • Oil – 1 tablespoon • Onion – 1, chopped • Green chilli – 3, chopped • Jeera (cumin seeds) – 1/2 teaspoon • Hing (asafoetida) – a pinch • Red chilli powder – 1/2 teaspoon • Coriander powder – 1/2 teaspoon • Garam masala – 1/2 teaspoon • Turmeric powder – 1/2 teaspoon • Salt – as per taste For Green Chutney: • Fresh coriander (dhaniya) – 1 cup • Tomato – 1/2 • Green chilli – 1 • Ginger – small piece • Garlic – 1 to 2 cloves • Salt – to taste For Besan Batter: • Besan (gram flour) – 1 cup • Salt – to taste • Red chilli powder – a pinch • Baking soda – a pinch • Water – as needed Other Ingredients: • Bread slices – as required • Oil – for deep frying Method: 1. Heat oil in a pan. Add jeera and hing. 2. Add chopped onion and green chilli. Sauté until soft. 3. Add boiled potatoes and all spices with salt. Mix well and cook for 2 minutes. Keep aside. 4. Grind all green chutney ingredients into a smooth paste. 5. In a bowl, make a thick besan batter using besan, salt, spices, baking soda, and water. 6. Cut the edges of bread slices. 7. Apply green chutney on one slice and potato filling on another slice. 8. Place both slices together and cut into triangles. 9. Dip the bread triangles into besan batter. 10. Deep fry in hot oil until golden and crispy. 11.
