This hotel stands alone on a barren plateau at an altitude of over 1,100m. It was a public lodging facility half a century ago. It is located away from the road, and the approach is now completely buried in undergrowth. It opened in 1961, and appears to have closed in the mid-1970s. We will consider the circumstances that led to its closure after only 15 years or so.
