In this video part two tutorial of painting a mince pie, I continue adding detail and contrast to the painting to make it stand out more on the paper. Once the pie is completed , I start adding soft colour to the plate. Finishing the painting by painting the background wet on wet, using my metric ruler to lift circles once the painting is dry, then applying colour to the circles to make the background seem to be out of focus.
