So, Seattle has finally awoken from its progressive daydream and decided to re-criminalize public... . In an almost comical gesture of sanity, the Seattle City Council has agreed that enough is enough. They voted to align with the rest of the state of Washington, making public substance abuse a crime once again, putting an end to the ludicrous notion that decriminalization would magically solve all the city's problems. Remember those soaring... rates and disturbing levels of... we talked about? Apparently, the City Council has finally noticed them too. It seems they're growing wary of the so-called "harm reduction" concept, which has caused more harm than good. You've got to appreciate the poetic justice. It's about time someone called out the ineffective leadership and questioned the dubious philosophies driving the City Council's previous stances. Oh, they say they care about black people and the downtrodden? Sure, but only if it suits their political agendas. Heaven forbid they listen to residents who've been around since the 70s and actually want to clean up the city. So while it's comical to see Seattle's leadership finally emerge from their utopian bubble, let's hope this is more than just a momentary lapse of reason. The city has real issues, and it needs more than virtue signaling to fix them. How long will it take for the council to realize that a different version of the "war" might actually be what saves lives?
