In this 4th episode of our thrilling journey from Tripura to Tawang, I, along with my fellow riders Robin, Samraj, and me take on one of the most challenging and breathtaking rides yet! Starting from Dirang, we traveled through the stunning Sela Pass (13,700 ft) and finally reached Tawang City by evening. The journey was nothing short of spectacular, with mesmerizing views of Sela Lake, glacier-covered peaks, and endless scenic landscapes. The weather kept changing — sunny skies turned to mist and chilly air, adding an adventurous twist to the ride. However, the high altitude posed its challenges, with low oxygen levels due to exertion while capturing reels and exploring this magical place. 🌟 Highlights of the Day: Crossing the Sela Top, one of India’s highest motorable passes at 13,700 ft. The pristine beauty of Sela Lake surrounded by glaciers. Riding on dangerous roads with steep edges and stunning mountain views. Experiencing the thrill of rapidly changing weather conditions. Finally arriving at Tawang City, the heart of Arunachal Pradesh. 🛡️ Safety Precautions for Riders: Acclimatization: Spend a day at lower altitudes to avoid altitude sickness. Gear Up: Wear layered, warm clothing to handle extreme cold and sudden weather changes. Hydration: Stay hydrated to fight low oxygen levels at high altitudes. Bike Check: Ensure your bike is serviced, especially brakes and tires. Drive Slow: Narrow roads with steep edges require careful riding. Carry Essentials: Pack snacks, water, extra fuel, and a first-aid kit. Start Early: Plan your ride to avoid driving at night in these terrains.
