An update - after four years! - to my "Making Records At Home" video. Newcomers who are wondering what all this is about should really view that one first, as it tries to explain the basics of record-making, and how my home-made record lathe works. In this new video I present a second lathe, with some improvements, and at last make the technical (and financial...) leap from embossing to 'proper' cutting - and attempt to explain the difference. The second half of the video comprises a playback of the track cut to disc in the first half. Please note: I'm not yet offering cutting services. If you have an interest in this sort of thing, please see my first video "Making Records at Home". I have made all my CAD drawings, software etc open-source for anyone to follow. The introductory blurb for that video lists the GIT repositories in which all the files are stored.
