NEW GUITAR DAY DISASTER!! Schecter MV-6 Unboxing, Tone Test and Review

In this video, I try out the Schecter MV-6 – a guitar I had dreamed of owning all throughout 2024. It seemed like the ultimate Strat, with all the features I’d wished the Schecter Nick Johnston had... Unfortunately, the Schecter MV-6 turned out to be a bit of a flop, and I didn't have a chance to try one in-store before buying. Dodgy fret overtones, a deeply scratched pickguard, a lifeless neck pickup, and a ‘baseball bat’ of a neck were the main issues. Upon closer inspection, it started to look like a used guitar, with no 'love' put into making or caring for the instrument. The only positive out of this situation is that it made me appreciate the Schecter Nick Johnston even more! Ultimately, I returned the Schecter MV-6 and swapped it for something else – stay tuned to see what I got instead! Best, Sean #guitarist #schecterguitars #schectermv-6
