(28 Jan 2017) The Iranian president on Saturday urged peaceful coexistence between nations following US President Donald Trump's executive order the day before which suspended all immigration and visa processes for nationals from Muslim-majority nations, including Iran, for 90 days. Although he did not explicitly reference Trump, Hassan Rouhani made an indirect criticism of the US president's planned border wall between the US and Mexico. "Today is not a time of building walls between nations," he said, speaking in Tehran. Trump signed an executive order on Friday making major changes to America's policies on refugees and immigration affecting Iran, Iraq, Syria, Sudan, Libya, Somalia and Yemen.
