I am bringing you this critical Weather Update Today because Winter Storm Fern is currently carving a Deadly US Ice Path that is threatening our communities from the South all the way to the Northeast. This sprawling storm is making its move across the country right now, and I want to make sure every single one of you is ready for what is coming. I am looking at the maps and the data right now, and this thing is no joke. We are talking about a massive path of ice and snow that could leave millions of people sitting in the dark across dozens of states. I know some of us have a tendency to brush off these warnings because we have heard them so many times before, but I am telling you that it only takes one time for everything to change. I remember when we got hit back in 2021 with that massive freeze, and the numbers they reported on the lives lost did not even tell the whole story. One loss of life is already too many, and that is why I had to come on here and ring the alarm. It really trips me out that a country as rich as ours still has an infrastructure that is this vulnerable. I believe it is a damn shame that the people in charge refuse to invest in the technology we need to keep the lights on when the temperature drops. They would rather leave our electrical poles exposed to the elements and keep us in a state of crisis because it is probably better for their pockets. While they are playing games with our safety, I need you to focus on your survival plan. If you lose power, you need to stay in one room to keep the heat in and keep those curtains closed tight. I want you to wear layers of loose clothing and keep your head and feet covered. I know some of you might reach for the alcohol or caffeine to get through the stress, but that is actually going to make you more susceptible to the cold, so stick to the water. Check on your neighbors and make sure your pets are inside because they are part of the family too. I am hoping for the best but we have to prepare for the worst. This is a time for us to put our differences aside and actually look out for one another like we are supposed to do.
