This dragon chicken tastes exactly the same as we get in restaurants. This is easy to make a restaurant style dragon chicken recipe. Thin strips of chicken are marinated with soy sauce, eggs & cornflour & deep-fried. This is then cooked with cashews, stir-fried vegetables & spiced up with some delicious sauces. You can make this dragon chicken spicy by adding some red chili powder to the chicken while marinating it. Preparation time: 10 minutes Cook time: 20 minutes Cuisine: Indo-Chinese Serves: 4 people Ingredients to make dragon chicken To marinate the chicken 250-gram chicken breast cut into thin strips 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste Salt to taste 1 tsp black pepper powder 1 tbsp Soy sauce 1 tsp vinegar 1 egg 1 tbsp cornflour 1.5 tbsp all-purpose flour (Maida) Other ingredients: 10 cashews 3-4 dried red chilies 1 tbsp chopped garlic cloves 1/4 cup sliced spring onion whites 1/2 cup sliced green capsicum 1/4 cup sliced red capsicum 1/4 cup sliced yellow capsicum 2 tbsp soy sauce 1/4 cup Tomato sauce + 1 tbsp chili sauce 1/2 tsp black pepper powder 1/2 tsp sugar Salt to taste Spring onion greens 1 tsp vinegar Making the dragon chicken 1. Start with marinating the chicken with ginger-garlic paste, salt, black pepper, soy sauce, vinegar & egg. 2. Add cornflour & all-purpose flour to it. Combine everything well. 3. Fry the marinated chicken pieces in medium heat oil. Keep it aside. 4. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a wok/kadhai. Add cahews & dried red chilies. Saute for 30 seconds. 5. Next, add chopped garlic cloves & cook until raw smell from its leaves. 6. Add spring onion whites, green capsicum, red capsicum & yellow capsicum. Saute for 3-4 minutes. 7. Stir in soy sauce, tomato & chili sauce & cook for a minute. 8. Add 3 tbsp of water, black pepper powder, sugar & salt to taste. Combine everthing well. 9. Next, add in the fried chicken to it & toss until the chicken is combined well with the sauces. 10. Finally, add some spring onion greens & vinegar. Switch off the flame. 11.
