We took on one of the ultimate urban walking challenges in Japan: covering every single station of the Fukuoka City Subway system — all 36 stations across the Kuko Line, Hakozaki Line, and Nanakuma Line — in just one day. In the middle of a scorching 40°C Japanese summer, we walked more than 50 km through Fukuoka, connecting every stop on the subway network by foot. From Fukuoka Airport to Hakata, Tenjin, Nakasu-Kawabata, and out to the suburbs, we pushed ourselves to complete the entire system without stepping onto a single train. This video is part city adventure, part endurance test, and part travel documentary. Along the way, we show what it’s like to explore Fukuoka above ground, neighborhood by neighborhood, while taking on a unique challenge rarely attempted by locals or visitors.
