The name of the village located amidst the dense mountains of Kodaikanal is Inji Kuli. There are no road facilities available to reach this village. During the British era, this route was secretly used as a hidden path by the British. Even today, the villagers use the same road that was once used by the British to reach their village. It takes about two hours of walking to reach this place. Apart from that, we also travelled for more than an hour in our vehicle through a rough and uneven path. The people living here use horses as their only means of transportation. They ride horses to buy their daily essentials and also use them to carry goods back to the village. If anyone falls sick, they are tied in a cloth cradle and carried to get medical help. These people live without any proper basic facilities. In this video, we are going to explore the lives of these villagers. Interestingly, there are only five houses in the entire village.
