Osteoarthritis is a very common condition, with some joints being affected in the vast majority of patients over the age of 60. Indeed, older age is a very important risk factor for getting Osteoarthritis as the prevalence of this condition increases with increasing age. In this lesson, we discuss the joints that are commonly affected in Osteoarthritis, the signs and symptoms of this condition and the differences between joint pain in Osteoarthritis and inflammatory arthritis conditions like Rheumatoid arthritis.
