EXOTOXINS | Type-I, Type-II and Type-III Exotoxins | Mechanism of Exotoxins with Examples

Exdotoxins are the toxins that are produced by both gram negative and positive bacteria. These are the proteins that are made inside the bacterial cell and then excreted out of the cell. It damages host cells in three particular ways: 1- Type-I: By acting as a SUPERANTIGEN 2- Type-II: By forming pores and damaging the cell membrane 3- Type-III: By using a second messenger system (using ab toxin mode or injectosome) Assalamualaikum everyone!
