KZ: Hiltbrand and Van Walstijn the heroes of the day The event got off to a perfect start for Danilo Albanese (KR Motorsport) with pole position, but the Italian then had to let other drivers take centre stage... Giuseppe Palomba (Maranello Kart), Mattéo Spirgel (CPB Sport) and Senna Van Walstijn (CPB Sport) shared the three heats, before Van Walstijn went on to win the Super Heat ahead of Pedro Hiltbrand (Birelart Racing). In the intermediate classification, Palomba took the lead before the Final, but was immediately overtaken by Hiltbrand after a few corners. A magnificent duel then began between Hiltbrand, Palomba and Van Walstijn, with David Trefilov lying in wait (Formula K SRP Factory Team). As the laps went by, Senna Van Walstijn proved to be the fastest, confirming this with the best lap of the race. He overtook Palomba and then Hiltbrand to cross the finish line 1st after 24 laps. However, he was given a five-second penalty, leaving the victory to Hiltbrand. Behind them, Trefilov collided with Palomba while trying to secure his place on the podium and was also penalised. Lorenzo Travisanutto (Parolin Motorsport), who had won his duel with Daniel Vasile (CL Racing Team) and then defended against Albanese's comeback, had the satisfaction of taking 3rd place. Jean Nomblot (CPB Sport) and Viktor Gustafsson (CRG Racing Team), who finished 6th and 7th respectively, also showed strong potential at Franciacorta. The list of retirements grew as the laps went by, including names such as Renaudin, Spirgel, Lorandi, Camplese, Pex, Ippolito and Denner. Although he did not win this Final, Van Walstijn consoled himself with the 2025 Champions of the Future Shifters title ahead of France's Jean Nomblot and Italy's Giuseppe Palomba, who saved 3rd place by a few points ahead of Spirgel and Hiltbrand.
