Could this be the ULTIMATE budget fuzz pedal!? We take this Behringer Super Fuzz through it's paces and unlock every tone on this weeks No Talk All Tone. If you're anything like me, you have seen these cropping up left and right with everyone pretty much unanimously saying that they are fantastic. I thought I gotta try one of these and, for Science, I got my hands on one (thanks to our DaveRage for thinning out his collection). So this is a Boss FZ-2 clone through and through, some suggest it is pretty much identical, so that's a great start because I know I can't afford the prices old and exclusive Boss pedals seem to be fetching these days. This little beasty has 4 controls, gain, treble, bass and level. It also has a selection between 2 different fuzz voices and a boost too. Today we are looking at the fuzz modes, namely because my camera decided it wouldn't record the last little bit and the audio was blowing out anyway as it was pumping out so much volume, my poor HX stomp input couldn't cope. Fuzz 1 is more of a full, mid-rich tone and fuzz 2 has a more scooped tone. With the 2 band EQ, you can hone your tone, but essentially fuzz 1 if you are playing with a band, because the scoop is real and you'll just not cut through.
