This video features the original country club here in The Villages. Located in in the historic side across Spanish Springs Town Square off U.S. 441, Orange Blossom Hills is the first and oldest 18-hole championship golf course and club. It was renovated in 2014 with improvements to the golf course, clubhouse, restaurant, and pool area. The club sits atop a hill on Water Tower Circle which makes up one of the highest elevation points in The Villages. The Club House amenities include a full-service restaurant, a golf shop and priority pool. According to golfthevillages.com, Country Club Pools are for the exclusive use of Villages Country Club Priority Members and their guest(s). Priority Pool Membership Enhancements are available to Villages residents. All country club pools are family pools which means people under 30 are allowed with a guest pass. If you wish a quieter pool setting, you may want to use one of the adult neighborhood pools instead. So the pool here is pretty unique compared to others in The Villages as it features waterfalls as well as a jacuzzi inside the water falls. Several cabanas are available on a first come first serve basis. The Orange Blossom Hills restaurant offers a diverse menu which means it changes throughout the year and features daily specials. They have an active Facebook page so make sure to check it out to stay up to date on their offerings. They even have a Pool Menu! We went for their Easter Dinner which came with soup or salad of your choice. I had their scallop dinner with rice and veggies and hubby had their ham dinner with sweet potatoes and veggies.
