Nature's Valley – A Small Holiday Village on the Garden Route! Ep 199

We did not know that when we decided to visit the small village of Nature's Valley, there would be such an amazing pass to drive down to reach this holiday town on the Garden Route. The Grootrivier Pass is completely engulfed in forest as you descend to the village below. We crossed the Groot River at the bottom and headed straight towards the river mouth. There I took a walk on to the beach to see what it looked like and it didn’t disappoint. Long white beaches stretch for kilometres and are lined with mountains and forest. This is truly a great holiday destination. Unfortunately, it was time to drag myself back to the car and head home. As usual, we arrived home late and had to return the rental car the following day.
