Linguistic creativity in language learning: The role of text type and teaching approach This keynote was delivered as part of the virtual conference: "Art in Language Education: research, creativity, and practice in the multilingual world" which took place on 13-14 November 2020. The conference aimed to explore questions on the relationship between creativity, art, and language development. Suzanne is Professor of Language and Education at the Institute of Education, University of Reading. She teaches and researches creativity in language learning, second language listening and reading comprehension, and motivation for and beliefs about language learning. In her most recent research, she led the Education Strand for the Creative Multilingualism OWRI project, exploring the relationship between language learning and creativity in Modern Languages classrooms.
