I’ve never heard this lovely song before. I assumed "Auf Wiedersehen, MY LOVE" was the same song as "Auf Wiedersehen, SWEETHEART". They are not. They are two completely different songs. This one was written in 1950 by German composer Eberhard Storch. The English language lyrics were written by John Turner and Geoffrey Parsons in 1952. Vera Lynn was the first to record the song.
