Sycco (psycho) is the music venture of 17-year-old Sasha McLeod from Brisbane. Last year Sycco released an incredible album that was spun frequently on the zed airwaves. Sasha recorded all instruments live and produced it in her bedroom with her own knowledge and a couple of youtube videos. Her album ‘Sycco ½ ‘explores themes of the existential crisis of our earth’s environment, the growing epidemic of depression. With the addition of her buddy band mates, Sycco creates a fusion of psychedelic jazz with a 'bitta' funk, seeming to enhance a kaleidoscopic and multi-coloured atmosphere. Sycco has just dropped a brand new singled called ‘Tamed Grief’ which has skyrocketed right into the top 20 most played tracks on 4ZZZ within the first week of its release.
