Authority is a type of power that comes from a particular position someone holds. But leadership is based on someone’s individual behavior, character, and qualities. In this video, I explain the primary purpose of being a leader and creating authority because of behavior, not because of a position. When you are a leader you have to inspire other people and help them to grow themselves. But when you get authority because of a position, you are just becoming the boss of your team, not the leader.
