If you want to make your job easier, you can actually create a project template that will preserve certain settings such as the workflow, permission scheme, issue types schemes, and more. This simplifies the project creation process because it limits how much customization your Jira admins need to do when creating a project. You can also ensure that each Jira project is following the same set of rules which increases process and communication. The only bad thing to using project templates is that when you want to make a modification to the workflow, it impacts all the projects that share that configuration.
