The consignor states this truck is based on a 1997 Chevrolet R-45 1 ½-ton chassis, and installed a rebuilt 1979 454 .30 over, w/ 502 heads, Edelbrock aluminum intake, and 750 4-barrell carb, with Headman headers, mated to a crate 4L80-E, 4-speed automatic transmission, custom drive shaft, and a GM 8-Lug rear end w/ 4:11 gears. Both engine and transmission have less than 100-miles since installed. She was built to be created, and sold. To make her more of a cruiser, he re-located the engine beneath the sleeper body – making her a mid-engine truck, flattened the fire wall - allowing for the truck to now have a flat floor – freeing up all that space that was engine housing. The sleeper is a 1989 Kenworth 88”, and has 4-access doors, as well as the engine access door. The pickup body is from a 1950’s International, and needed the fenders to be widened 7” to fit the dual rear wheels.
