Marvy People Chef Semsa Denizsel She will utilize, cook and serve all what Eagean generously offers us... "I heard first about Club Marvy last year. Then our paths crossed with Ece Tonbul, a super passionate woman who generates hope and excitement to those around her. She could not settle for something she already have and decided to take a tougher journey, she is telling a new story through Club Marvy. In her story Ece is after other than the clichés that comes to mind when you think about luxury tourism and hotels. Of course the reason that our paths crossed is our passion for food. Ece cherishes food that is local and thrilling, a regional cousine that reflects Aegean values. We want to introduce our high standards of a boutique hotel although Marvy is a huge operation. This is our main goal, a very attentive cuisine carried out in a rather big operation. Then, we would write a story that would make the guests say, Oh, what a feast of taste is in Club Marvy I can feel it there is something like becoming Marvy-like. The architecture, the people gathered around, the service it is all about being Marvy-like, with Marvy spirit. We are working on the food which will also be Marvy-like. We adapt what we authentically have, to today’s and tomorrow’s format of hosting quests. When you look at Marvy’s architecture, the buildings, there is something very dynamic yet very simple and naive. İn the rooms all those textile reflects our culture, very local but all with a twist again ‘Marvy-like’. The food will also be ‘Marvy-like’. We will utilize, cook and serve all what Eagean generously offers us. We will be doing the most of this in front of the quests, that is to say we will cut the noodle in front of the quests. It is awesome to be able to create this atmosphere with someone who shares the same passion. Ece Tonbul’s passion and energy reflects on the architecture, art projects and on all the operation, including food. It gives me the chance to implement every detail i strived for through all my career."
