In League of Legends, support players fight an uphill battle in a thankless role. Their job is to protect their AD carry during the laning phase — literally, to make someone else look good. And they sacrifice farm, and sometimes their own lives, to make that happen. But there’s a champion that shows everyone, including the fans, that support players aren’t the weakest link. He may not be focused on healing or defending allies. But support players who pick Thresh can still win. Because when you have a hook and god-like reads, everyone on the enemy team is already dead.
