In this video I use POR-15 Red Caliper paint to paint the brake calipers on my 2015 Chrysler 300S. For less than $25, you can get the same great look on your car for a fraction of the price of purchasing new brake or buying a $250 brake cover. It was extremely simple. Just a few tips. Be sure to wait the full 3 hours before applying another coat. It needs time to dry and not be tacky. I ended up using 3 coats, but if you put on a thicker first coat, you can easily get by with only 2 coats. After the full 24 hour drying period, the paint drys thick and has a bright shiny gloss look. No need for clear coat. It is suggested that you use a primer, but I decided to go with 3 coats instead of purchasing a primer. POR-15 will cost about $15, brake cleaner about $6, and some cheap brushes for a couple dollars will be all you need. As you can see in the video, there is probably enough paint in this little 8 oz. can to paint 20+ calipers. You can buy POR 15 here: https://www.por15.com/POR-15-Caliper-...
