Michigan State University’s inaugural Spartan Bus Tour

In October 2024, Michigan State University President Kevin M. Guskiewicz, Ph.D., led a delegation of Spartan faculty and administrators on a tour of Michigan’s western Lower Peninsula. The goal was to build connections with local communities, understand regional challenges and strengthen MSU’s commitment to education, research, outreach and extension. Over three days, the group visited 15 stops, including local businesses, schools, state parks, and cultural and research sites, representing a broad cross-section of Michigan.
