(Japan Live) Best Yakitori in Japan is Closing - Let's Enjoy It

I’m biking down to Hideyoshi, my favorite yakitori shop in Hatogaya, Saitama..a place that has been part of my life for nearly 9 years. The master behind the grill is in his 80s, and at the end of this month, he’ll be closing the shop for good. His hands have been hurting, and after decades of standing over the charcoal, it’s finally time for him to rest. This stream is the second-to-last time I’ll ever sit at this counter. Hideyoshi isn’t just a yakitori shop to me. It’s where I ate after long days, celebrated small wins, and found comfort during tough moments. It’s also the location of one of my early YouTube videos, back when this channel was just getting started. Tonight, we’ll bike over, spend some quiet time at the shop, enjoy yakitori cooked the way it’s always been done, and reflect on what it means when places like this disappear...not suddenly, but gently, with time.
