Peace and Plenty is an English Country Dance devised by Gary Roodman, published in "Even Odder Calculated FIgures" of 2009: https://calculatedfigures.com/. It is an improper duple minor dance. Mr. Roodman now recommends that this dance be done in a Sicilian circle. The tune, also called "Peace and Plenty" was published by Playford in 1728. It was performed by Bare Necessities (Earl Gaddis, Mary Lea, Peter Barnes, and Jacqueline Schwab) on the album "Fast Friends". A copy of the album was given to me by Gary Roodman and is used with his permission. It is also used with permission of Country Dance Society, Boston Centre, Inc. The animation plays at 114 counts per minute normally, but the first time through the set the dance is slowed down so people can learn the moves more readily. Men are drawn as rectangles, women as ellipses. Each couple is drawn in its own color, however the border of each dancer indicates what role they currently play so the border color may change each time through the minor set. https://www.upadouble.info/
