The CW Launch Promo This September 18 (July -August/September 2006)

In Honor of The CW’s 15th Anniversary which will be this year. Here’s a Promotional Launch campaign for The CW Television Network to debut on September 18,2006 during the Fall 2006 Season. This promo was shown during the month of July 2006 on WB Network affiliates that were to take The CW Affiliation as well as UPN Affiliates that were chosen to become CW Affiliates and Dual WB/UPN Affiliates (Primary WB/Secondary UPN or Primary UPN/Secondary WB) to take the CW Affiliation and some independent stations. The CW was a merger of The WB and UPN, 50% of The CW is owned by Warner Bros Entertainment (the owners of The WB) and the other 50% of The CW is owned by CBS Corporation (the company that owned UPN during the 2005-2006 Season). The CW picked up 7 shows from The WB such as 7th Heaven,Beauty and The Geek,One Tree Hill, Gilmore Girls, Smallville, Reba and Supernatural as well as 6 shows from UPN such as America’s Next Top Model,Veronica Mars, Everybody Hates Chris, Girlfriends, All of Us and WWE Smackdown along with new shows such as The Game and Hidden Palms. #TheCW15thAnniversary
