A Peltier device is supposed to be able to MOVE several times more energy in the form of heat than the electrical energy that it takes to run the device, similar to a Heat Pump. Also, the electrical energy input used to MOVE environmental heat through the device is also converted to heat and that additional heat contributes to the heat output as well. I found the "Shake" flashlight at a yard sale yesterday and thought that perhaps it could supply most of the components needed for this experiment: a strong neodymium magnet and coil (linear generator), the magnet could also serve directly as a piston and the flashlight cylinder could serve as the cylinder for the Stirling engine. The electrical output from the "shake" flashlight's linear generator could be used to power the Peltier device, the heat from the Peltier device can power the Stirling engine, The Stirling engine can power the linear generator, and the linear generator can power the Peltier etc. etc.... "Impossible"? Perhaps. :Perpetual Motion". I guess. Maybe it could work, maybe it can't work. In my opinion, no real point in debating the issue when an experiment such as this to find out cost practically nothing. Whatever the results, they will be uploaded as Video #2 (or #3 or #4, whatever) in this series.
