I Played Taki's SuperStation One

Retro Remake is back with a new PlayStation One emulation beast powered by the MiSTer project. The console's FPGA chip allows it to 'emulate' systems on a hardware level, allowing for fantastic accuracy and speed. This FPGA tech has been recently seen in systems from Analogue, including the new N64-focused Analogue 3D, but Retro Remake is approaching their FPGA system with a very different philosophy, promising an open system that can play anything there's a MiSTer core available for. While some might be turned off by the rough edges and some jank, the SuperStation One is fun system that makes getting into the MiSTer scene just a little easier and cheaper.
