Andre Iguodala’s clutch gene is one of the most underrated in NBA history, and the highlights prove it. Who could forget Game 1 of the 2009 NBA Playoffs First Round against the Magic when he had an isolation on Hedo Turkoglu, and made a tough step-back midrange jumper to put Philly up 100-99 with 2.2 seconds left, or in the regular season when he isolated on Trevor Arica en hit the game-winning pull up three in his face at the buzzer? In the 2019 NBA Finals, he nailed a dagger three in Game 2 with under 6 seconds left to silence the Raptors crowd and seal the win. In that same year, he had a massive steal and assist in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals that led to a warriors win which gave them enough momentum to sweep the Blazers in that same series. Even in the 2013 vs. OKC, his game winning fadeaway helped solidify his reputation for late-game resilience and poise under pressure. In the same year, against the Hawks in 2014, Iggy was faced with the task to get the ball inbounds, he did just that by getting it to Curry, but quickly got the ball back and drained a 180° 3 pointer to win the game, he had returned just a few games earlier from a hamstring injury that sidelined him for nearly a month, and gave the warriors their 8th straight win, which would turn 8th a franchise record (at the time) 10 wins in a row. It’s not always about stats—it's about timing, impact, veteran leadership, and heart, and Iguodala always delivered when it mattered.
