I never thought I’d sell my Jeep Wrangler 392 so soon, but after months of ownership, real-world off-road use, and a series of frustrating issues, I had to make a tough decision. In this video, I break down exactly why I sold my 392, the problems I encountered, and whether I think this Jeep is truly built for hardcore off-roading and overlanding. From fuel starvation on steep descents to unexpected transfer case failures and locker issues, the 392 had more reliability concerns than I was comfortable with. And for a vehicle that’s supposed to be the most capable Wrangler ever built, that was a dealbreaker. Was it fun? Absolutely. But was it the right tool for serious off-road adventures? That’s another story. Let me know in the comments—do you own a Jeep 392? Have you had similar issues, or has yours been rock solid?
