We had one of those ranch days where everything happens at once. We ran a set of bred cows through the chute, weighed them, gave vaccines, wormed them, and did a little branding work so they could head out to a lease place ready to roll. Somewhere in the middle of all that, we’re arguing about handwriting, joking about “too gentle” cattle, trying not to trip over extension cords, and doing our best to keep Pepper out of everybody’s business.
