Overcoming Failed Expectations

Hi love's, it's a NEW week. Breath in, Breath out, EXHALE... This week topic is all about overcoming, what we expected. I'm here to tell you not from logic but from experience, you will survive! I used to be so sensitive and still is in a way lol. But not like I use to be (To God Be G The Glory). It wasn't until one day, someone promised to do something for me but didn't follow through on it. I was distraught, disappointed and saddened. I begin talking to God about it and the holyspirit reminded me that some people just don't have the CAPACITY to deliver what they said. Their intentions were good but their actions lacked consistency and discipline. I could have kept blaming them and stayed mad, sad a d disappointed. But instead, I used it as learning tool to extend grace. I was able to share with them my thought's and I even assured to them that I was no longer giving them that power over me. I got "no response " and that was perfectly fine. I was free! I did my part by forgiving myself, by giving them power to control how I felt, then I forgave them. I hope that this message encourages you to give yourself grace and move forward from failed expectations! I love you...
