Dear Doctors / Fellow surgeons I am Dr. Sundhar Krishnan, Senior Head and Neck surgeon and I have done a Ph.D in Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery in Chennai. It is my pleasure to invite all ENT, Ophthal and Neuro Surgeons to the, “2016 Chennai International Congress Endo ORL and Skull Base” to be held from 26th-28th of February, at Hotel Accord Metropolis, T.Nagar, Chennai It is the sixth live endoscopic workshop conducted by my own hospital “Krishna Eye and ENT Hospitals”, Chennai. This workshop hosts live surgeries with two way live interaction between the performing surgeon and the audience, lectures and there will be an exclusive quiz for the ENT post graduates This workshop will cover 20 to 22 live surgeries over two and a half days. Surgeons from ENT, Ophthal and Neuro will surely be exposed to surgeries like optic nerve decompression orbital tumors, skull base tumors like pituitary adenoma, maxillary tumors, JNA, craniopharyngioma, CSF Rhinorrhoea. In the ear - endoscopic myringoplasty, tympanoplasty, ossiculoplasty, mastoidectomy, facial nerve decompressionand basic FESS. Stalwarts of older and younger generation have been roped in, ensuring the participants to be enlightened with both knowledge and experience. A little more about me, I am working as professor in Madras Medical College linked to Rajiv Gandhi Govt General Hospital and I have my own setup “Krishna Eye and ENT Hospitals”, Chennai. I have been using the Endoscope for Ear surgeries, Sinus surgeries and also skull base surgeries for 2 decades. I have performed over 5000 endoscopic surgeries, many of which were very challenging. I am very passionate about imparting practical knowledge from my huge experience. This is an emerging field which is going to be THE FUTURE of Head and Neck surgery.
