This is the second teaser for Murcof and Simon Geilfus new live cinema show, Twin Color. Geilfus' virtual world is procedurally generated in real-time using cutting edge video game development software resulting in an ultra realistic look, which closely follows Murcof’s music for an intimate symbiosis between the two. The story itself describes the mysterious events that take place at an unnamed western European forest during an early autumn evening, extending well into the depths of the night. With both the music and visuals containing clear influences from sci-fi films and soundtracks of decades past. Developed in co-production with the renowned French institute for music and acoustics research, IRCAM, during most of 2023 and premiered at their recently renovated Espace de Projection in ultra precise 3D sound and 4K video projection, on Nov 30th and Dec 1st 2023.
