We took a winter trip to the Kansas City Zoo and honestly didn’t even realize the zoo was open during the winter months — but we’re so glad it was! ❄️ Because there were no big crowds, we got to enjoy the animals up close, especially the penguins, who were incredibly active and even walked right among the people. Seeing them waddle around so freely was such a cool and unexpected experience. 🐧 Winter turned out to be the perfect time to visit — calm, quiet, and full of unforgettable moments.
