I have had this idea in my head for quite awhile now.... but have been lacking inspiration to do it! I finally took the bullet and did it.. There was just too many character deaths last year on Australian Shows. I don't think there was an Aussie show that didn't kill off some main character last year.? It was just so sad to watch as there was just soo many and even worse to know that the actresses and actors behind those characters were out of a job! Already 98% of our actors are out of work. I showed alot more of the deaths that claimed Mel Rafter and Ringo Brown rather than the others as Mel and Ringo's deaths were really great tv watching compared to the rest as the others just like didn't have funeral's etc. It was just like DAMN THEY GOT SHOT! If you know what I mean? I am NEVER doing another video like this. It was too hard. I found myself rewatching those deaths and starting to break down after the year that I have had! Esp rewatching Ringo's death! I hate seeing Margot cry! 3 of the deaths were due to crashes or getting run down in the middle of the road. 1 was from beng stabbed. 2 were from getting shot. 1 from being blown up when a bomb exploded. that adds up to 7 deaths in total! 2011 has had none!!!! :) I got the song idea when I saw a tribute to Belle Taylor and this was the backing track. The actors and actresses in all these shows did a great job with the deaths. Even though PTTR had the biggest ratings when Mel died. As it is Australia's most popular show. I was debating whether I would add Penn into the mix of this video as he really did deserve to be killed but i decided that i would put him in as i was showcasing everyone. You may have noticed that I put Sea Patrol and City Homicide in here at some stages of the video. I added Sea Patrol as you see Mike being forced into the submarine and the next minute you know that it is being blown up and everyone thinks that he is dead, this also happened in the 2010 Sea Patrol Finale. I didn't like Therese's scenes so towards the end I put some of Sophie's scenes in Home & Away. Our talent is so amazing that's why when our actors go overseas they are loved and become really popular as they are just SOOOO TALENTED!!! brilliant job to all the casts!!!!
