🚐 - Ep. 9 | This our first time doing a whole camper van build out. Hello, Sabaidee and Sawatdee! :) Less talking more doing in this one! In this video we’re building a custom box with shelves to house our solar battery station. We also cut tiles and make a quick run to Lowe’s to pick up wood for framing the tiles. There’s very little talking in this one—just focused work and tool sounds throughout the build. This is a mostly hands-on build just working, cutting, framing, and the natural sounds of the tools. Perfect to put on in the background if you enjoy calm DIY and workshop vibes. 2023 through 2024, I lived in my van full-time while traveling across the USA—before it was even built out. At the time, all I had was a simple bunk-style bed propped up by four loose 2x4s and a single sheet of 1" plywood for a mattress base. I wish I had started YouTube back then! But, I’ll be sharing clips from that time throughout my van build instead. 🙂 What began as bare-bones van camping slowly evolved into a full camper van build—and ultimately, my dream tiny home on wheels. This DIY camper van conversion will eventually be home to all four of us (my husband, me, and 2 fur babies). I've never built a camper van before, so everything you see is real, unfiltered, and learned through trial and error.
