Woo! It's a burner this week. "Hair" is an amazing musical from the 60s - it deals with the hippie movement and the Vietnam war - and it just so happens to have some of the funkiest bass parts ever written in show tunes. This musical played a big part in inspiring me to pick up the bass during my teen years. But then, it got even more disgusting when they released a motion picture version, and had Wilbur Bascomb drop some next-level fingerstyle chops on the whole thing.
