JOHN JACKSON Dr. John Jackson has been the President of Jessup University since March 2011. Before that, he co-founded Thriving Churches International and was a senior leader at Bayside Church in Granite Bay, California. He also founded LifePoint Church in Minden, Nevada, and served as Executive Minister for American Baptist Churches of the Pacific Southwest (now Transformation Ministries), overseeing more than 270 churches in four states. His ministry experience includes leadership roles at First Baptist Church of Oxnard and First Baptist Church of Buena Park. Dr. Jackson holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in Educational Administration and Organizational Studies from UC Santa Barbara, an M.A. in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary, and a B.A. in Religion from Chapman University. He is an expert in executive and organizational leadership, working with churches and marketplace leaders globally. An accomplished author, he has written ten books, including Grace Ambassador, The Prevailing Church, and Pastorpreneur. Dr. Jackson lives in Rocklin with his wife, Pamela, and they enjoy time with their five children, sons-in-law, and five grandchildren.
